I grew up on this farm. 1954-1973. First house, north side of SR 36 just west of SR 235/36 intersection. My parents moved there a couple years before I was born. It was owned by the Donald Bollinger family the entire time we lived there. Dad farmed on the shares. Mr. Bollinger did numerous updates to the house over the years, but it is essentially the same today. Most of the land, however has been sold off. There was a grocery in the barn for a few years in the 80's and it has changed hands a number of times. Some of the out buildings are getting very run down. I hope the present owners bring life back into the place. It was a wonderful farm to grow up on.
Go by this place every time I go to Piqua.
