This house is still there but the barn is gone. The school or church in the lower right is gone as are all of the trees near it.
Finally found a map with the building in the lower right corner of this photo; the 1960 USGS Spartanburg map has it labelled as a church.
Church in the lower right was built around 1921 as a replacement for the original AME Church just up Stingley Rd from here. According to the map I found, the farmhouse in this photo served as both the post office and store for the community as well.
