Is that the Last Chance when they still sold gasoline?

This isn't the Last Chance as that was on the north end of Greenville in 1977. This is in Coletown where Cole St. meets Hamilton Rd... The empty lot on the right is where Greenville Township #10/Coletown School once stood.

I attended Coletown one room school for 3 years. The building shown next door was a grocery and home to the owners with a grange hall upstairs. We would go buy candy, 2 for a penny, at lunch time. There was a pump between the store and school where we could get a drink. The school had a coat closet on each side of the door when we entered, the rest was one big room with a big stove. We had 2 outhouses out back.

Coletown School burned to the ground after it was abandoned for the new Woodland Heights School. I think it was a lightening strike that took the building.
