Ludy's Harley Davidson in Painter Creek.

My uncle Robert Ludy owned this Harley shop. He and my mother grew up in the house. The Harley shop used to be my grandfather, Paul Ludys machine shop. I know the house is gone and someone else owns the shop but I don't know what their business is called.

What year did ludys close ?
How many years were they in business ?

I saw on the internet that the Ludys sold the business on September 17, 1999. They were in business for 31 years. It's been sold again since then and is now Piqua Harley Davidson.

I have an oil dipstick that came on my bike that says "Ludys H-D Painters Creek, OH"

That's cool! Thanks for sharing it Shawn. My Mother passed in January of this year but we had happy memories in this old house.

Hello,
Does the Ludy's building still look the same today, I know its now a Harley Davidson building.
