This farm was at 17843 Buckskin Rd., Defiance, Ohio. My father, George Bauer, purchased the farm in 1957 even though it needed a lot of repairs. Over the years he added upstairs/downstairs bedrooms to the back, and back and front porches. He also did extensive remodeling in the inside. The three-car garage was built around 1964. There was an old barn that was torn down in the early 70’s. and replaced with a the metal barn. Five kids grew up here and loved every minute of it. After the death of our parents, my youngest brother purchased the farm from the estate in 2005. He then sold it around 2016, and unfortunately, the house burned down in 2018.
