My grandparents house then and my uncle's now.
MAIN HOUSE Has Been remodeled...some barns have changed. Landscaping added...but all in all still looks like their place.
Amy, Was the building along the road a gas station at some point or perhaps a market?
Amy Keller Schuldt. Is that a Mail Pouch barn at the left??
The barn has an ad for Commercial Banking and Trust.
I found 1945 newspaper ads identifying this as Keller's Service Station, a Fleetwing dealer. In March, 1948 an announcement stated that Keller's Tavern was open again and serving sandwiches and beer, run by Ethel Keller. In November, 1957 it was closed until further notice. It re-opened in February, 1958 with "Old and new friends appreciated". The last mention of it in the Sandusky Register was in July 1965 when they were selling off all the equipment. The building still stands and looks great today.
