This was my grandpa's farm (ken Fowler) aka Pappy. He was the blacksmith at the Knox County Fairgrounds. My mother and father have the old homestead but had to build a new house. The race track is no longer there, since my aunt cut the end of it off, after my grandfathers death.

This is where my husband was raised. He was the only one of 5 children that followed in his father's footsteps when it came to the love of harness racing, owning, training & racing...thus the race track, which is gone now. The old house is gone too, unfortunately. We had to tear it down & build a new one. I miss that old house, what character it had & memories. We lost the trees close to the house, the new house sits behind where this house sits. No paddock between the house & barn anymore. The field behind the barn has mature trees now & is very grown up. My husband is BACK HOME & we love it here.
