The Fisher mink fur farm on South Boone Rd, Columbia Station. It had been there since the late 1940s at least. The small lane is Squires Rd. The heyday must have been the 1960s when this photo was taken. By 1969 all the mink houses were torn down. You can see the farm afterwards in 1969 in photo 74-MLO-18 here:

My father Sheldon Fisher owned the mink farm. It was called Fisher's Fur Farm. At its peak there were about 8000 mink being raised. He went oit of business in 1968. He bought the property in 1942 for $5000 which included about 10 acres and the small house at the corner of Boone and Squires Rd
