These houses were owned by members of the Schmidt (sp?) family. The farm on the right was later owned by Walter Greisheimer and the house has been torn down. It is located on Butternut Ridge Road one mile east of Oberlin Road, and the railroad track in the background is now the bike path.

Walter Edling was spot on. Here are some updates. The house on the left is currently owned by the Gerhardinger’s, who own and operate the dairy farm next door. There is now a garage further to the left, and the barn is under restoration.
