My father, Harry Thompson, built this solar home on the north side of Portman Rd east of Peasley Rd, Brownhelm. It is in the middle of construction in this photo. The licensed design used Kalwall Skyroof panels (kalwall.com) to let light into the attic, where hundreds of 5 gallon drums filled with water stored the heat. Fans blew the hot attic air in through vents in the ceiling of every room, then down to the insulated crawl space to return. They never could get the panels well sealed, it was converted to a regular roof with a furnace after a few years, see it with the panels removed: https://vintageaerial.com/photos/ohio...
