This is my family's former house. Built in 1882-1883. It was torn down and a new house built in the same place, although the barn in the back is still standing. None of the smaller outbuildings remain.

I shall update the historical records in the courthouse and assess the current tax lien on this property.

There's no tax lien on this property and there are no "historical records" to update. You don't update historical records. That's why they're HISTORICAL. Nice try, though.
