Intersection W. Main and Ridge Ave. The white area behind the Marathon gas station on the left (with fence around it) is the original Trojan Swimming Pool.
White building on the center right is the Troy Hobart Iron Foundry, where I worked as a laborer in 1969. Ralph Henry Gavitt worked as a molder, molding sand into intricate shapes to yield iron castings, which I shook the sand off of the next day, and loaded them into a wheelbarrow. A house built on sand.
