Photo 78-ZMI-28

Comments

I grew up here from the age of 13 until marriage. My parents owned the property until my father's death. Since this photo was taken, all the barn to the right of the silo are gone as well as the crib to the left of the silo. The area behind the silo became a nice grassy area surrounded by trees. The big barn to the right of the silo was used to house horses, which we had 22 of at one time. The long low barn to the left of the picture was the newest building and housed pigs. Charlie got his first pig, Betsy, from FFA (I think) and the rest for our family became history. It was a wonderful place to live.
