This is the Moler farm from the early 1900's. The only buildings still standing is the garage and the barn
Photo 31 & 32 are the same farm just different views.
This is my grandparents farm, where my grandmother took care of the house duties and my grandfather took care of the farm until he was 85. I spent alot of time here, helping where I was allowed to, I was there from age 5 to 18. I sure miss my grandparents and the farm.
Hi Timothy,
What were some of the thing you were allowed to help with while you were growing up? What was your favorite thing to help out with?
Hello Alexis,
While Grandpa was picking corn, I would move move the corn around so Grandpa didn't have to stop and move the corn.
Most of time I would watch and learn. I did help clean the chicken coop floor, and I was amazed at the number of rats and tunnels we dug up. No I wasn't scared but I sure had fun clobbering those rats. I was only ten years old.
