Well I live here now and have for 26 years now. It sure has changed a lot since this photo was taken.

Is this where the Doats lived in the '50s and/or '60s? Back a lane off Dodson Road next to the railroad seems right. I see in the bottom right corner where the two railroads came together right in Dodson.

This was Asa and Daisey Powers place, behind Doat's place in the '60s. Steve and Sally(Brown) Keener lived there later. At that time, the driveway back to this place went between Doat's house and barn. Asa had a collection of 'exotic' chickens, that laid different colored eggs. He once gave me a 'White Crested Black' rooster and two hens. One hen was black, the other black with white speckles. They all had a big 'crest' of feathers on their heads. The rooster had some pretty long spurs that he would sneak up on you and 'flog' you with. My mom was afraid of him, so I had to give him to somebody else.
