Catherine & Paul Roberts home located on Oxford Road. It was built in fall 1963 to spring 1964 when original house was destroyed by fire on March 26, 1963. A fire in the 3 car garage, which housed G & R Fabricating, ignited the propane tank & the house was blown off its foundation. The propane tank was located across the road in the neighbor's woods. The current owner has added a pole barn but the house and concrete slab which housed the original 3 car garage are still standing. Since Paul Roberts was a welder, he built the swing set sitting in the yard to the east of the house. The red bard was moved from Preble County Line Road & Greenbush Road, is still standing. Catherine used part of it for a chicken coop. Paul's 59 Ford truck is sitting behind the house. Roberts' owned the house until the 1980's when it was sold to the current owner.
