This c1910-1930 foursquare is at 1041 Anderson Station Road. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, I recall a cute mural of a skunk smelling flowers on the black-painted barn. See also and 1963 Photo 20-DRO-2 and 1978 Photo 19-PRO-28.
I was raised here in the 70s and early 80s. :) My dad painted that skunk mural on the barn when he was home during the Mead strike in the mid-70s. The barn was razed ca. 2000; it was too far gone to save. The current owner has done a beautiful job maintaining the property!

As someone who grew up in the area during the same time period, what other fond memories do you have of Ross County? What kind of farming did your family do on the property?
