Buckeye Mart general store and Foodtown Grocery Store; 546 Plaza Drive; Fostoria, Ohio. The "place" in town to go for all your shopping needs. Bought plenty of record albums there and plastic models and Testors Glue in the orange tube...

Foodtown next door. Mom didn't shop here for some reason, but it was always a treat to go to Buckeye Mart! The sign had five colored balls that went to various heights. Red, yellow, green, blue, and orange(?). At night, we could see these illuminated orbs from where we lived in Stearns Crest, three miles north of Fostoria.

I remember… as a child I lived in Bradner, OH. Always looked forward to hopping in the Impala and driving to Fostoria. I would spend my allowance money on model cars , plastic army men, and GI Joe stuff at the BM. Then we would go down the road to DQ and get a chili dog and pineapple shake. Those where the days.

We lived in the Burns addition on the west side of town 1969-1972. Went to Buckeye mart plenty of times.
