Oh my gosh!! This my family's farm. I grew up here along with my 4 brothers and 4 sisters. We farmed over 450 acres, and in addition Dad had a sawmill, pictured above, and my Mom wove rugs and did other crafts. My Dad and brothers built the corncrib, and many other buildings. We also milked cows, but they would have been gone by the time this was taken. It is quite different now. My nephew lives there with his wife. They raise Alpacas now. The old house has been completely renovated and all the other buildings are gone. They have built another large metal building which houses a woodshop for making furniture and other items. Another building is where they sell furniture and my nephew's wife continues weaving rugs on the loom, which was my Mothers, and spins alpaca yarn, and they sell items there as well as on the internet. Believe me, we all worked hard in those days. I have another nephew who lives down the road, and another who lives across the road. They are my oldest brothers sons. My Mother and Father were definitely entrepreneurs in their own right, and ahead of their time. Of the nine of us, six are still living, and three of them are over 80. All live in Ohio, except for me. I live in Maryland.
