The Hazelwood farm was located on the east side of Hazel Woods Park. It was torn down beginning in early 2017 as part of park construction. The house above was built in 1901. A structure was built directly west of the house after this picture was taken and it looks like that structure was retained as a shelter in the park. The park is named after the previous owner - Ruby Mae Hazelwood (d. 2007).
