This is the Gilbert home on the bend of the short end of Western Row Road between Columbia Road and Foster Socialville.

You can see how Western Row road turns sharply to the right beyond the driveway. It heads quickly downhill into a ravine with a creek that in 1968 and for decades was traversed by a one lane bridge. In 1968, long before the development of Northgate Drive, Windsor Park Drive and the Afton Falls neighborhoods, there were fewer than 10, and probably closer to 5 homes on this stretch of Western Row between Columbia Road and Foster Socialville.
