Robert Currie & family lived here from 1961-1973. The house was built by Robert and Orla Currie. The old house, which was located where the B&W Ford pickup is parked, was where Orla was born in 1931. Orla's parents (Henry and Inga Deedon) lived on the property from the 20's to 1961. Henry and Inga moved to the place to care for Henry's father, John Deedon, who lived there and had the barn built sometime very early in the 1900's.

The trees adjacent to the barn are primarily Royal Ann cherry trees.
