The re pin on the map is the approximate location of where the Mail Pouch barn in the above photo, once stood. The Mail Pouch barn is ID'd as MPB WOW 38-04-02 on the Mail Pouch barnstormer's restaurant.

This beautiful farmhouse and barn were still standing in 2020, the house renovated and painted a beautiful shade of green, the enclosure removed from front porch. The Mail Pouch ad was still visible on the barn. The white lean-to below the ad has been removed. The field behind the house and barn are now the Hookstown Fairgrounds.

SKG Yes you are correct and I knew that!! I don't know what possessed me to list it as gone. I used to spend hours upon hours going through the film strips. To give you an idea of what my state of mind must have been in, the last of my entry should have read 'Mail Pouch barnstormer's website!! NOT Restaurant!!' lol

This was my grandparents farm. Then I lived there as a child until I was about 11 with my parents and siblings. My Aunt and Uncle renovated the house and live there still. The barn has been gone for quite a while now. We each have foundation stones from it. So many good memories.
