This is my grandparents home that they built with all of their own hands!!

I grew up here. As you can see in this photo, we always had two gardens and my mom would always can all the vegetables. I haven't been in this house since my parents sold it in 1998. Five kids and nine of the ten grandkids have memories here. I wish all of the great grandkids would have had the pleasure of seeing this house and all of the hard work my Dad put into it when he built it.

My grandparents built this home! It was my first home 25 years ago when I was born! Tons of memories here!

This is our home place. That our dad mom and all us kids built with our hands from ground up. I can remember helping carry bricks and pounding nails. I remember how dad worked away came home Fridays work like crazy building this home. He worked so hard for what he did and had. Started building this in I think October of 1974 then moved in memorial day weekend in 1975. It was easy to move. Because we lived in a trailer right off the front porch. We just walked out the back door onto the front porch into the front door. All of our names or initials are in the concrete either at the well or front porch. A lot of beautiful memories are their in that home. My siblings Colleen Cogan, Jeff Cogan, Pat Cogan, myself and our youngest sister Denise Cogan terdiman. And all of our children have beautiful memories of our home place. Dad would be so proud of his kids grandkids and great grandkids. The gardens were so big. We used to have a huge strawberry patch. Where my oldest niece April Knepper used to run up and start picking and eating them. We had a dog that used to eat the tomatoes off of the vine. Mom canned so much. I got to help her with this. And I continued this tradition that we were taught. I do believe our oldest niece April cans also. Hey April Knepper how about the chicken BBQ every Sunday. Love and miss our home place.
