We purchased this farm four years ago; we took down several of the larger trees that were among the buildings. Sadly for us most of the fences are no longer in place. The smallest building to the right of the barn is also gone.
This farm was originally owned by James Boone (Uncle to Daniel Boone). The old portion of the main house (The back wing) was built in 1757. The front section you see in the photo was built circa 1800. The second stone house on the farm is quite close to the house you see in this photo (to the immediate left). However the trees obscure it from your vision. There are three garages and one has a two bedroom apartment above it, You can see that garage-apartment to the rear left of the main house. There are grape arbors behind it.
