Only about five minutes from home in Altoona, it was a special treat for families on a summer night.
The building still exists but has been vacant for many years.

I do not understand this. The above comment was not what I wrote about Sunnycrest.
On 06/23/2022 i made the following comment:
Sunny Crest Ice Cream stand, on on Grandview road between Altoona and Bellwood. The road on the left is Sunny Crest Rd. which goes for a short distance to some private homes.
Building has been empty for a long time. Run down and appears abandoned. No signs left to recognize it for what it was.
It seems that there are two similar photos on here. But Family Dentristy is on Rt 36 near Hollidaysburg.
