My Uncle Karl Rottman's farm, Redwood Rd. Petrolia Pa. His boys and Daughter run it now. There is a tractor barn between the original barn and silo

Mark when growing up. We had horses and a ram. but I remember going to your uncle Karl's farm for burlap sacks of corn, oats and hay.. Had this POS car he would help me tie hay to the roof.. Wow went there for years! And it feels like a lifetime ago.. Karl was a good soul with a story for every visit. Think I went to him just for the company and the youthfulness the spoke of. Which is hard to believe it is us with the tall tales and the youthfulness we once had. BUT we also have the memories of the spirits we crossed paths with in this lifetime we have now... thanks for the photo!!

p.s. If you have any other site like this? Even of geneology can you send them to me on facebook please??
and that was not a beg! haha

will do

Mark, Your Uncle Karl was also my uncle. His first wife Doris was my dad's sister. I was named after her. He worked so hard that it is good to see that the farm is still working. I will always remember him with a smile. My best to your family.

This was my grandfather's farm and yes I grew up here, many, many good memories....and I too was named after my grandmother Doris, whom I never met...we use to climb the apple trees to pick apples, and go over the hill to pick huckleberries... they were the best...
