This farm was a huge part in the history of Colver. It was known as the "Colver Dairy Farm" and was owned by the Coal Company. It provided milk and many other things to be sold in the General Store in town. Later on when the 'farm' shut down most of the buildings that cannot be seen in the photo were turned into rental apartments...my parents lived in one of them before buying a house 'uptown'. My husband and I bought this farm in the fall of 1969. We just sold it in the fall of 2015. We replaced some of the out buildings, built an addition on the house and a larger front porch. There is a barn off to the left, not pictured...it was part of the original dairy barn. There are other buildings also..
This was my parents' farm. I grew up there. I lived there from the time I was about three years old or so until I was about 21.
