I Think this is the Hob Nob Restaurant and trampolines at the intersection of Hanover St and Rt 322 in Hummelstown. Lower Dauphin High School is just across from this pacrel. When they built the new highway, this was tore down. This intersection (crossroad) was just a two lane highway with a red light. It was a bad intersection to cross.
I lived on the other side of the high school, on Park Avenue. I don't remember there even being a red light. I think it was a stop sign in the late 50s, early 60s. But, yes, this the was Hob Nob. Coach Reichenbaugh used to take us there after little league baseball games, win or lose.
Was there also a HobNob located in the Hershey area with a very strange star shaped building?
Hi Edward! That sounds like a really interesting place! We'd love to help you with your question, but we need a little more information. Do you remember any landmarks or specific details about the HobNob or the star-shaped building? Additionally, can you recall any changes in the area since 1966?
