John and Chloe Hepfer owned this farm in New Franklin. It was 50 acres. It was a dairy farm. Pap repaired pulsators. Gram made the most magnificent food on the old wood stove. The house roof in the lower left was my home. Mom, Marie, was a Hepfer girl. The building across the road was one of the two stores/gas stations in the village.To its right was a meadow with a pond that
Pap and my dad, Ben Bowers dug for us kids. The farm was sold to Dr. Warren Kistler when Pap quit farming in the 60's. It has since been sold again. Wonderful memories.
