This is my Uncles farm. He has since passed away but the farm is still in the family.

This is the farm I grew up on and we are currently buying , I am the 4th generation and my kids are the 5th generation. The farm was purchased on September 4,1911 by my great grandfather William Evan Ackerson. After he was killed in farming accident in 1919 his wife and family ran the farm and later was purchased by his daughter and son in law Vera & Wm. Stuchell . Grandpap was killed on August 25, 1960 when he was discharging a hay rake and it and the tractor ran over him. The farm was then bought by my parents Samuel & Doris Stuchell ? In 2004 my husband Ted and I purchased the farm .The barn burnt on 12-25-1982 and a smaller on was built by the Amish but my Dad cut a lot of the timber and sawed it on his sawmill. Growing up we were among the dozen or so that shipped milk now their are only 3 farms left that ship milk. Ted & I lived in the trailer between the two houses shortly after this we built a home just above the second house . I have a framed copy of this picture
