The white house in the top left of the photo was my great grandparents' farmhouse. The construction of Allegheny Boulevard itself and the new intersection at 322/36/28 caused the loss of a good portion of their farm. Continued development pressure in the '70s-'80s led them to sell off the remaining land. In this 1976 photo, the barn had just been dismantled and hadn't been cleaned up yet. Today, Burger King is located on the site of the original farm structures.
