Amos Herr farm, where the East Hempfield Township building now is located. Tennis courts, pavilion, pickle ball, basketball court, volleyball, and little league soccer and Hempfield cross country course.
Amos her was a teacher and coach and community person. He left the land to the community and it has served it well. All kinds of events, car shows, flea markets, road races and playground take place here. The home has been renovated and is used by the township.
