The old Bessemer High School, which served as an Elementary School from 1963-1983, in Bessemer PA. It was torn down sometime in the late 1990's.
I went to Elementary school in this building and played flag football on the field. This field was used as the High School football field at least through 1980.
I went to this school though 3rd grade and marched on the field for band through high school. The 2 story house on the right has been completely remodeled.
Remember playing football there Friday nights. Halftime in the gym locker room. I went to Mt. Jackson
My dad taught High School here and coached Football and assistant coached Basketball with John Samsa for 13 years. Many memories of all the games we went too with my mom and sister and my brother.
