I grew up here and still own half the farm. The barn, silo, and all the equipment are gone. The only things left are the house and the milk house that you can’t see in the picture. My brother lives in the farmhouse and the land is rented to a local farmer to grow crops. The farm has been in our family since 1911 when my grandfather bought it then later sold it to my dad. After my parents died, the land was equally divided among my three siblings and myself. Now I own half of the farm and my nephew owns the other half which will soon be divided with his brother and sister.
