We have worked here since 1992. Live on the property of Dan Schantz Greenhouse. The long (trailer building) to the far right used to have many field workers living in it, with one cook. Later was made into 2 apartments. The main building of Greenhouse was expanded in 1992 towards the rear. We took down the big hill in back and added an automated greenhouse that uses flooded floors with recycled water. We built a new shipping area around 1993 or 1994 that burned down in January of 2017. Now rebuilt with new equipment and offices, our greenhouse has been restored. Dan Schantz Greenhouse has 4 locations and is a major wholesale facility of ornamental plants and flowers. Our retail outlet, still in Allentown remains as a place for locals to come and purchase our vast varieties we have growing in our nearly 60 acre wholesale farms.
