We think this is the McDowell farm, later Ramsey home, very old. McDowell was an industrialist from Sharpsville. There's a shot of this farm in the 1964-1965 rolls, with a barn beyond the 2 buildings shown here. This farm had land on both sides of Rt. 18, and part of the land was taken by the state to build Rt. 18. McDowell and Pierce (Mt. Hickory Stock Farm on N. Keel Ridge Rd.) built a schoolhouse on McDowell land along what's now Rt. 18 so that their children didn't have to walk all the way to Sharpsville for school.
House and buildings were demolished, but were located approximately where the access road to Sheetz is now. Lamor Road.

This was my grandparent's farm (ARNER). They lived there from approximately 1947 to 1976. Everything in the description above is incorrect. It is located on North Keel Ridge Road (not Route 18), between Valley View Rd. and Lamor Rd. Both buildings shown are still standing and the house is occupied. The map link is now correct.
