M. F. Weiss Appliances store I believe on Rt 209

This building was torn down by Chestnut Hill Township several years ago. It was on Rt 209 in Brodheadsville. Before it was M.F.Weiss Appliianes it was Irwin Altemose + Son John Deere Farm Machinery. There phone # was 5611.

Thank you! I still have a 1946 Kelvinator refrigerator that came from that store. It has the store sticker inside.

I lived in the house to the right of Mel Weiss' store. It was owned by his mother. Mel and his family lived directly across the street from the store, hidden by the trees I guess. In the 70's they had a pool behind the house.
