Where the Country Kitchen was and Don Martz's Sunoco gas station
Rte 225
The building to the left of the garage was called "The Pee Pee House", later named the "Country Kitchen". They had the best "California Burgers!"
The building on the left will always be the Country Kitchen to me! It is located at 1261 State Route 225 across the street from the road that leads up the hill to Line Mountain High School. We would regularly walk down the hill after school to get sodas or snacks at the Country Kitchen, or from the gas station next to it, which is located at 1275 State Route 225. Today, the Country Kitchen building holds a salon and a home builder's office. This photo was taken facing west. Compare with photos 9-VNO-15, 9-VNO-16, and 9-VNO-17 from 1990.
