This was my grandfather Earl "Berkey" and Blanche Sanner's farm along 281 about 2 miles South of the Kingwood School. The House was historic and is now located at the Shepherd's Farm Restaurant, it was a log home. The small building to the left of the main house was a three room house that was my great-grandaddy Miner's home. The building to the right of the house was a garage, behind that was the hog pen and behind that the corn crib. The barn stood until about 2-3 years ago, and a round barn was put up in about 1983 or 1984. You can see small white things, which, my guess was sheep in the pasture field, we are still raising sheep in our family today. My homeplace was to the right of this photo in the field. The hollow to the left of the barn used to be an old Upper Turkeyfoot Township "township" road that led to the Hexie Road.
