Leland and Mary Walker farm. It is no longer there. Sold to strip mines

I grew up here on top of the hill above Goodtown. I have wonderful memories of the Walker family with my Mom and Dad - Leland and Mary Walker and siblings, Bill, Jim, Bertha, Sue and Lee Ann. The home place was a wonderful place and we didn't want to part with it. But, with the coal company surrounding our three acre property, it was not an option for Mother and Bill to continue living there. Though the buildings are no longer there, no one can take away our precious memories that live in our hearts and minds.
