All gone now...I grew up on this farm 1959 through 1974.. Bought by builder Frank Saylor, he tore all down and built a new house further back by the woods. When My parents bought this house, was 14 room, double house, thus two doors to front porch when remodeled..had no running water. I remember an art class came to draw because of the trees behind barn..unusual. Silo to left of barn is where Dad lost end of his thumb when new machine was ordered. The trees in front of house were live Christmas trees that were planted. Remember reroofing that milkhouse with my Dad..Sam Holsopple..Farm was Called Son Ray Jay Farm...my two brothers middle names...Remember the auction when Dad sold the cows and Impliments. Remember Uncle Elwood Cable painting outside of this very tall house...and many more memories of family gatherings and get togethers...such as churning ice cream in the basement for birthdays

Sad they tear down all those old farm homesteads
