This is the Cass Farm, it became a century farm in 1976. The farm belonged to my husband's family, the Cass's and is still in use by renters. My brother-in-law acquired the farm after my husband's and his aunt passed away. It still looks very much the same, the horse barn across from the house did recently fall down, and there are a few more out-buildings now. My husband said that on the right, just out of frame, was an school house where all the Cass children went to school a LONG time ago, and his aunt told me years ago that at one time the grainery on the right side of the house was once the local post office and a general store.
