Brush Run Road N. Bethlehem Township. This home was built in 1833 according to the date stone in the gable by Joseph (1795-1871) and Elizabeth Barnard Ross(1802-1875). These were my ggg grandparents. Two of their daughters Elizabeth and and Permelia Ross married two Mowl brothers, Solomon and Abel. Later the farm was owned by civil war veteran Dunning Hart and was in the Hart family for three or four generations. Presently the farm is owned by the Gardner family who are descendants of Joseph and Elizabeth Ross through son Samuel Ross.
