This is the Long farm on Shrader Hollow Road. It has been in the Long family since the late 1700's. Only the two houses remain. The barn was burned down by an arsonist in the eighties.

I have an atlas map from 1876 that shows the smaller house as a shoe shop. Does anyone know anything about that?

Yes,the shoe shop was on the first floor. John T. Long (1826-1906) was the shoemaker.

I am the current owner of this property and we are working on restoring the buildings currently, It's a great property.
