This is the Shockly Adams/Jesse Bethea home after renovation from 1981-1985. The main house on the right was built around 1825; the left attached building was a tavern and overnight for travelers built in 18 century. The family cemetery is across the road on left center. The home has been in the Bethea family for almost 200 years and 6 generations.
