My family lived here from 1980 until the early '90s. It replicated a New England Saltbox, custom-built with high quality materials; as transplants to South Carolina from NH my mother felt drawn to it.

My sister died in a car accident just up the road from here a few months after we moved in. My father used to put a two-story high angel design in colored lights on the front of the house each Christmas in her memory. People would come from all around to stop in our driveway to see it.

The rock wall is gone now, as is the fence around the yard and pool. The house has been painted white.
