Porters Drive In on 21N before you cross the bridge heading to Charlotte. All gone now, along with the motel. Last of it torn down to build the new bridge. My grandfather used to talk about driving there right across the border from NC to drink back in the day. Not exactly right across the border, but back before I-77 it was the route south to Columbia, and the closest hot-spot.
