My late husband, Robert Rochel and I purchased this farmstead in 1988 from Mary A. Rochel, Robert’s paternal grandmother. Charlie and Mary Rochel purchased this farmstead in 1915. Their son Harold and wife, Gerry Rochel lived and farmed here from 1945-1976. Robert and Mary Rochel lived and farmed here from 1977-2019. In 2020 David and Sherri Rochel became the owners along with me, and my Life Estate and Rochel Family Trust.
