The north side of the silo says Amos Nettleton and Sons 1942. The second house on the upper right was built in the mid 1950’s. My grandparents, Amos and Clara Nettleton moved from the original farmhouse to the new house. We moved from a house in Hetland to the old farmhouse. I was in Kindergarten at that time. My parents were Robert and Dorothy. Dad and Grandpa farmed together until Grandpa retired in 1967. My parents, 2 brothers and I moved to Volga then. The original farmhouse was demolished within the last 5 years.
